Strangely enough when this does happen it is impossible to get a thread dump. It always happens part way through a Java edit in what I think is that state between when the syntax is broken because it is missing a '' and I am in the middle of changing source. I decided to wipe out the cache directory and now it has only happened twice in the last two weeks.

Strangely enough, a week ago I would get this error about 1 time every ten minutes or so always when editing (that day it was netbeans source code but it also happens in other Java projects). I fairly recently upgraded to Lion and 7.0.1 was working fine before the upgrade.
